Cuphead developer Studio MDHR announced yesterday via the studio's blog that the upcoming 1930's cartoon-inspired platformer would be delayed until mid-2017. Studio MDHR co-head Chad Moldenhauer wrote in his post that "throughout this year [Studio MDHR] discussed reducing the scope to make a 2016 release, but we made the difficult decision to delay the launch in order to ship with our vision intact.".
Cuphead is now slated to be released on Xbox One and PC in summer of 2017. In the meantime, you can enjoy the slew of gameplay videos available online.
