Big Changes For the Weekly Update

Hello all. As always, thank you so much for reading I would just like to take this time to talk about some changes regarding the Weekly Update series. The Weekly Update has always been something that I wasn't quite sure about in terms of what the article should emphasize and how much information should go into it. In the past it contained an update about myself, what I've been playing, what my thoughts are about the games I'm currently playing, a summary of all the articles that I've written that week, and a list of all the video games releasing the next week. After some thought, I've decided that the summary of all the articles posted on the website is a bit redundant thanks to the site's front page. Additionally, the upcoming games releases section gets very few views and most people are already aware of upcoming AAA releases well in advance of the weekend before. As such, I've decided that the time I spend each week on the Weekly Update would be better served making/improving more original content for the site, which is something that everybody can enjoy. Doing this, however, still leaves the updates about myself left in the dust. But no worries. As you may have already noticed, the Weekly Update tab at the top of the screen has now been changed to the Blog tab. The Blog tab and front page are where updates about myself and what I'm playing will be appearing from now on. At this time, I don't have a strict plan for how often I will be updating with a blog post, but I will be sure to do it at relevant times.

None of these changes are set in stone and I am always open to changing things up again to give you readers the best possible experience here. While I do not relish dropping a series, I do look forward to the more dense ego-stroking that actual blog posts can give me.
